IP65 Outdoor Solar Water Pump Inverter: An All-Weather, High-Efficiency Water Pumping Solution

2025-12-08

IP65 protection rating: Fully dustproof (Grade 6) and splashproof (Grade 5) design, capable of withstanding harsh environments such as sandstorms and torrential rain, ensuring stable operation in scenarios including the Loess Plateau and coastal salt spray zones. As demonstrated in the Luochuan, Shaanxi case study, eight photovoltaic panels generated over 3,840 kWh annually, powering a water pump to deliver 2 m³/h flow at a 120 m head. This system irrigates over 100 mu of farmland, pumping 4,000 m³ of water yearly – equivalent to 60 mm of rainfall.

Intelligent MPPT Technology: Utilising maximum power point tracking algorithms, the system dynamically adjusts output frequency to match sunlight intensity, boosting power generation efficiency by 20%-30%. During overcast conditions, the system automatically reduces pump speed to align with low-light energy levels, preventing shutdowns. Under ample sunlight, it drives the pump at full capacity to maximise water output.

Modularity and Compatibility: Supports three-phase AC water pumps (including centrifugal and self-priming types) with power ranges from 2.2kW to 22kW, head capacities from 10m to 300m, and daily water extraction capacities from 3 tonnes to 1000 tonnes. The modular design enables scalable multi-unit parallel operation or three-phase system configuration, accommodating diverse requirements from smallholdings to large-scale irrigation projects.

Application Scenarios: Comprehensive Coverage from Farmland to Off-Grid Communities

Agricultural Irrigation: In the Loess Plateau and arid regions, the system adopts a ‘water storage instead of electricity storage’ model to reduce maintenance costs, complementing sprinkler irrigation systems for water-efficient farming. For instance, the Luochuan project utilises reservoirs to store water pumped during daylight hours, releasing it at night for sprinkler irrigation to meet crop needs during winter and spring droughts.
Off-Grid Communities: Addressing power shortages in remote areas, the equipment can integrate with mains electricity or diesel generators to ensure domestic water supply and small-scale commercial power. Small villages achieve ‘energy self-sufficiency’ for drinking water, irrigation, and household electricity, reducing reliance on conventional grids.
Industrial and Commercial Applications: In settings such as food processing plants and livestock farms, the equipment drives pumps for water circulation and wastewater treatment. Integrated with remote monitoring systems, it enables fault alerts and energy consumption analysis, thereby reducing operational and maintenance costs.
